A never-ending pattern story from the road...

My journey in pattern design began in Utrecht, where I studied Design at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht). I started out as a fashion designer, and it was during this time that I first fell in love with print and pattern design. In the early years I worked for various studios and brands across the Netherlands. Designing private label fashion collections for department store De Bijenkorf and later developing my skills as a professional pattern designer for brands like Oilily World and Pip Studio.

After gaining valuable experience in commercial design, I decided to further my education, completing an MA in Crossover Creative Design at HKU Utrecht. This journey led me to create Studio Pompidom, which I launched while traveling through Europe in a campervan. Working from the road has been the perfect way to fuel my creativity, drawing inspiration from the cities I explore and the beauty of Europe's flora and fauna.

I now focus on creating unique surface art for a variety of products like textiles, stationery, and wallpapers. My mission is to push creative boundaries with each new design. I believe in a colorful world that celebrates nature, which is why our sustainable approach ensures that all our patterns harmonize beautifully together.
