Hi and welcome to my Studio Pompidom world:
Where illustrations and surface patterns go beyond just a pretty picture!
What began in a camper van, traveling across Europe, has grown into a design studio bursting with inspiration. Working on the road turned out to be the perfect way to capture a world full of wonder, color, and playful surprises.
From strolling through quiet villages and soaking up cultural traditions to discovering local delicacies and the beauty of nature — its flora, fauna, and ever-changing moods. And as a surfer and swimmer, the sea is never far away!
Everything I experience along the way finds its place in my designs.
At Studio Pompidom, I create illustrations and layered surface designs for a wide variety of projects — from books, puzzles, and textiles to stationery, wallpaper, and bespoke collaborations.
I turn ideas and stories into images that are distinctive, joyful, and unmistakably Studio Pompidom. I love adding unexpected details that make you pause and look a little longer.
Background
My design journey began in Utrecht, where I studied Fashion Design at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU). After starting out as a fashion designer, I discovered my true passion: pattern design.
Since then, I’ve honed my craft working with various studios and brands in the Netherlands — both in-house and as a freelancer — while completing a Master’s degree in Crossover Creative Design.
With Studio Pompidom, I focus on creating unique surface art and illustrations for a variety of products, including books, jigsaws, textiles, stationery, wallpapers and special projects. Ask me to draw what’s in your mind, and I’ll turn it into something just a little prettier for you!
